ย About Labor Fest
Celebrating Labor. Building Community. Standing Together.
Labor Fest MKE is an annual event that brings together APWU members, retirees, labor organizations, community leaders, families, and supporters to celebrate the strength and contributions of working people throughout Milwaukee and across the nation.
Held on Labor Day, Labor Fest serves as an opportunity to honor the labor movement, recognize the importance of union solidarity, and build stronger connections within our communities.
Whether you're an active union member, retiree, family member, or community supporter, Labor Fest welcomes everyone to join us for a day of fellowship, education, entertainment, and celebration.
ย Why We Celebrate Labor Day
Labor Day recognizes the achievements and contributions of working men and women whose dedication has helped build and strengthen our country.
For generations, unions have fought for fair wages, safer workplaces, benefits, retirement security, and dignity on the job. Labor Fest allows us to celebrate those victories while continuing to support the future of organized labor.
